Irish Wake for Blue Max
Hi everyone,
I would like to thank everyone who sent me possible locations for Blue Max’s wake.
After going over all of them I have selected Sam Houston Race Track for the wake on Saturday March 31, 2012 (more info at the bottom of this email). I got this suggestion as the location the most and it fits our needs perfectly.
I have spent last week talking with them about what they could or would offer us and this is what I got worked out.
Option 1
We all just show up there and meet up on the second floor that night. Our cost would go like this.
Parking: Free
Admission: $6.00 a person
Food: Your cost at one of the restaurants there if you want.
Seating: No reserved seating
Option 2
If we get 250 alumni to reserve and pre-pay for the buffet dinner at the Winners Circle restaurant for $25.00 a person, we will get:
Parking: Free
Admission: Free and a free program
Food: Buffet meal planned and prepared by Chef Hugo Gomez in the Winners Circle restaurant on the second floor looking out over the beautiful race track. The menu’s are not planned this far out so I can't say what it will be, but they have assured me there will be something for everyone and it will be great.
Seating: You will get the use of that table and seats for the whole night. We will also get use of 300 stadium seats all of which are inside.
Plus: We get use of one of the two private meeting rooms they offer on second floor as a remembrance for Blue Max and our other Madison Angels.
You are going to eat dinner somewhere that night, so why not there? If you were to subtract the cost of the admission which you would have to pay anyway, the buffet only costs you $19.00 a person. Plus it will get us a private room to use as a remembrance room and all that seating.
We will need you to make your reservations ASAP so if we go over that I can try to get them to give us more incentives.

If you aren't doing the buffet but plan to attend, please let me know at madisonmixer@aol.com so I can put your name on the who's coming list.
Also there are many of our alumni who we no longer have a current email address's for whom aren't getting this or other emails about events and mixers. So please feel free to pass this email along to any and all alumni or siblings you are in contact with. You can also have them go to the website www.madisonmarlins.com and give us their info so we can add them to the database and email list.
We are hoping for a very large turn out, so please plan on being there to tell Blue Max farewell, a symbol of our school years and a link to each other.
